Hi everyone,
We have some very exciting news! Rate of Return has been acquired by GRIT, and we’ll be transitioning to Beehiiv as a part of the process!
A press release will be sent to your email in the coming days, but the purpose of this email is to let you know that Rate of Return will now be on Beehiiv instead of Substack.
Rest assured — nothing is happening to your subscription or to the content that you regularly receive.
Please read below to learn more about accessing the content!
What does this mean for my subscription?
You’ll still be receiving the same Rate of Return content (and more!) at the same price.
We are manually migrating you over from Substack to Beehiiv, and you will not be charged any more than you already are. The price for new subscribers will be increased to $31 per month or $372 per year — so you’ll be getting a great discount.
Why did I receive an email from Substack?
You either already have received — or soon will receive — an email from Substack saying that your subscription has been cancelled/ended.
You can completely ignore that email from Substack. It’s automatically sent as we change platforms. You have nothing to worry about here, and your subscription will remain active.
No action is required from your side.
How do I access content (besides getting it via email)?
Go to gritcap.io
Click on “Login” in the top right
Enter the email you used to sign up for Rate of Return.
You will get an email with a login link. No password is required, and it will look like this:
Once you click that, you’ll be redirected to all of the existing content on the GRIT website (powered by Beehiiv). This includes Rate of Return content as well.
How do I access Austin’s portfolio?
We’ll still have a clean Google Sheet for your viewing pleasure.
You can access my portfolio by CLICKING HERE — and it will always be available for you on gritcap.io as shown below:
When does this change take place?
Our Week in Review post this Sunday will be the first one that’s sent to the merged newsletter lists! Again — there will be nothing that you need to do. The formatting might just look slightly different.
What if I was subscribed to both GRIT and Rate of Return?
This won’t be relevant for the majority of you.
However, we have identified a few dozen of you who are paid subscribers to both GRIT and Rate of Return. In this case, you will have the same situation as everyone else. You’ll only be charged for the existing price of your Rate of Return subscription.
⭐ One last important thing…
Make sure you add GRIT@mail.gritcap.io to your email contact address book.
Look out for our emails in your “Spam” or “Promotional” folders in the early days to make sure you are seeing the newsletter.
The best way to guarantee no issues is to “Star” or “Favorite” the email and drop us a quick reply!
Thanks for taking the time to read this! I’m so excited to continue writing Rate of Return in the years ahead. Keep an eye out for one more email breaking all of this down before the end of the week!
Warmly,
— Austin
